  • If appropriate, and as part of a comprehensive brain-based program. The research is very clear that both low and high thyroid patiens will have brain dysfunction to some degree.

  • OMG...This is me in a nut shell. No help! and very little understanding from my doctors or loved ones... Hashimoto's has ruined me. I am made to feel that I use hashimoto's and my underactive thyroid as an excuse to be lazy, over weight and tired. I sincerely feel like crap... My thyroid levels are still up and down after 8 years of diognosis. Thank you so much for posting this, it has taught me more in 6minutes than I have learnt in the past 8 years.

  • Oh my goodness. I am a teenager diagnosed with Hashimoto's but it's funny, my Endocrinologist has never mentioned to me that this is an autoimmune disease! How could they keep this vital information from me!? This is very serious and I'm so happy I came across this very informative video or else I would have continued to not know anything. What am I supposed to do? I'm prescribed a hormone-leveling pill but now that I know it's not any good...what's the use? We have to find a way soon to end it.

  • You are 100% RIGHT and I am only at the start of knowing finding out that I have hashimotos and my endo doesn't even seem like she wants to work with me. This is out of havard in Mass I am going to Boston General and I hope they are much better in Boston

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  • I have low thyroid in hormones problemswhat can I do

  • Thank you so much, Dr. Clark. I'm a 36-year-old female that was diagnosed about 6 years ago with low thyroid. My temperature is always a little lower that normal and my skin in so dry. I don't like taking the Levothyroxine because it made literal hard knots in my leg and arm muscles. It was horrible! The Dr. also said my blood was low in vitamin D. Do you have any suggestions?
