Butler Butte Guard Station, a former Aircraft Warning Station during World War II, sits at an elevation of 5,500 Feet in Umpqua National Forest, Oregon. The roads to the cabin are not plowed in winter, so it's at least a two mile walk in, gaining over 2,000 feet in elevation.
