Green Screen, Test one - Tribute to Wayne's World

Since getting my mac and buying Final Cut Express, I've always wanted to try out the chroma key effect... so this is my first try at it. The video at the beginning is actually me driving down santa monica blvd last month in California, but the rest of the video is from Toronto.

Music is by me, thrown together in 13 seconds flat in garageband.

Thanks Cho, I threw it together in my livingroom pretty quick last night. The taping took literally 30 seconds, but since it's my first try, the editing went through like 40 different versions of the export. I'm thinking of posting a few of the "fails" just for the lols.

So it's just in test stages right now but I am working on getting myself further away from the screen so that I don't have to feather the edges so much. It's especially difficult with the edges of my hair, or getting the reflection of the light from the screen on my shoulders. Next time I'll try singing a song in 2 parts or something...
