  • It is obvious that you feel that you were treated unfairly in your custody case. I only leave a comment for you as I have been through a custody battle similarly where my children and their time with me was at stake.

I can't speak to the law or matters which you do or do not deserve to have unsupervised visitation with your children. However, It is very apparent to me (an outsider) your judge was annoyed with your lack of legal representation. Next time get a lawyer or face a repeat.

  • @Whetdaddy I went through multiple lawyers. Anyone who even watches court proceedings know the local lawyers pal around with each other before court, and with the judge outside of court. It's laughable when they suddenly pretend to be at odds with each other when their cases are called, and back to best pals as soon as their time in front of the judge is over. The out of town law firm I tried to hire, refused to take my case when they heard my case was before Judge Myles.

  • @Whetdaddy Corpus Juris Secundum (CJS), Volume 7, Section 4, Attorney & client: "The attorney's first duty is to the courts and the public, not to the client, and wherever the duties to his client conflict with those he owes as an officer of the court in the administration of justice, the former must yield to the latter." Clients are also called "wards" of the court in regard to their relationship with their attorneys.

  • @Whetdaddy It also didn't help that opposing counsel was on the committee to elect Judge Myles. Hard for even the most skeptical to say that a Judge Myles wouldn't be biased in favor of someone who helped get him elected. Besides all that, the previous orders handed down by Judge Myles while had an attorney left me unable to afford further representation. Surely is isn't your opinion that anyone who can't afford an attorney shouldn't be able to expect justice or see their their children,
