Gates: U.S. Will Soon Yield Control in Libya

U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Sunday that the U.S. expects turn over control of the military operation in Libya to a coalition headed by France, Britain or NATO "in a matter of days." (March 20)

So when will the US control Yemen and Bahrain that are killing and injuring protesters?

This war on libya was sold on hypocrisy of protecting civilians yet the US does nothing for the civilians in Bahrain or Yemen. In Bahrain the US has the US Fifth Fleet ready to use to impose a no-fly-zone.

This war on Libya has to do with regime change and oil and nothing about civilians. Protecting civilians is the pretext and regime change the motive.

@Arabman666 Public Opinion is against this action. The American people need to be 100% behind sending our sons and daughters in harms way. I see a lot of propaganda and manipulation here that I don't like or trust. This action will give Qaddafi supporters that are on the fence a reason to join him and this mess gets bigger and bigger. We have wars now, that we are spending billions on and we our borrowing money from China for those engagements. Common sense needs to prevail here...
