I just got my mic and it came with a stereo 3.5 jack, not the mono. I cannot get it to work with my Kodak Zi8 but it works with other devices.

@DanielHjorthPhoto I did a dual mono so the audio would come out of both speakers. You can find this in my iMovie Mono how to video. You can do the same with any other video editing tool as well

I use a Canon FS200 with the mic. My problem is a hissing noise I cannot get rid of. Then, when I make a fake stereo of a recording in Goldwave, the hissing gets even worse. Any idea about the hissing itself and/or what software to use to make my .mov videos two-channel ones? Tha

@ragzol Are u using the mic while you have the AC plugged into the camera? If so try it running on battery power alone. I have to do this with my Canon...I get a buzzing noise when I have the AC plugged in.
