I've tagged fish far below the wall and far above. 40 kilometers down and 100 kilometers up, both have been recaptured in the opposite direction. Suggesting the native fish don't have much trouble with this wall.

is it a case of robbing peter to pay paul - i mean, you want to limit saltwater intrusion into freshwater areas by building barrages but at the same time you need to keep regular flow to support ecosystems, like fish migration. good video. thanks.
