Its Alright, Its Okay | | Episode 8:
-Mitchie's POV-
Yeah, he kissed her. He asked her to be her girlfriend and she said "YES". Well, my heart broke, but that shouldn't matter, right? I mean Shane's happy. Carter's happy. I should be happy one way or another. I covered my eyes, not looking at what's ruining my life, right in front of me. "Guys, gross." They laughed as they pulled away and I just sighed heavily. Shane walked toward me and hugged me. I hugged back, pressing my cheek to his shoulder. "Thanks Mitchie." I sighed and nodded. "For what?" He smiled. He looked at Carter and Carter was smiling. "For getting me and Carter back together." Carter joined the hug and I just slightly smiled. They were the BESTEST friend's EVER. I smiled at my thought as I pulled away from Shane and Carter. Shane half hugged me. "Aww, you'll find someone." I looked at him and just simply glared. "Not helping here." Carter smiled and walked toward me. "Hmm. What about Nate?" I looked at her and my eyes widen. "Seriously Carter? You couldn't have thought of someone else?" Carter and Shane just chuckled. They knew me and Nate fought for years. We NEVER got along. So in other cases, that was a really stupid match. Carter sniffed. "What about that guy in the Vampire movie? You like vampires right, Mitchie?" My face turned red as I looked at her. I was so angry. "Carter! Leave me alone!!!" Right before she could reply, I ran for it. I didn't want to be matched with some other guy than Shane. I turned around to see Shane a few inches away and I screamed. "Shane!" He laughed and fell to the ground. "C'mon, Mitchie? Just one guy?" I shoke my head. "N-No. N-N-Nev...N-N-Never. I was shivering really badly. He walked to me, caressing me. "Mitchie, are you okay?" I just shook my head. He touched my head and he nodded. "You shouldn't have stayed out here for this long Mitch. You have a fever." Suddenly, he did something I could have never imagined. He picked me up and carried me bridal style. I was shocked but I wrapped my hands around his neck as he brought me inside my room. He put me down and started to take off my comfy jacket, then cozy mitten's and all the other accessories I had on. I was smiling the whole time as he cared for me more and more. And for the first time, I was feeling loved. He turned to me briskly and walked me to my bed, he tucking me in. "Your not coming out this room. For ANYTHING. Stay here, I'll get you some soup." I nodded. He turned around and when he was about to walk away, I thanked him. "Shane?" He turned around. "Yeah." I smiled. "Th-Thank you." I sneezed and he chuckled. He got some Kleenex and handed it to me. "Thanks." I repeated it again. He just nodded. "No problem, Mitchie." He kissed my cheek and I blushed. I felt butterflies in my stomach. He turned and walked away. I closed my eyes, remembering the moment's that happened today. Re-thinking of how me and Shane met. How Carter is still suffering from cancer. As I remembered. "Carter suffering from cancer. Yep" I nodded stupidly. Then my eyes shot out. "CARTER'S SUFFERING FROM CANCER!" Shane and Carter are dating. Carter's going to leave us in a few days. Tears rolled down my face as all these thought's raised up to me. I was so busy in my life, I forgot that soon there's gonna be a really dear life token away from me.
