aaaaaaaa i don't even really ship them, but i felt like i should give something to the pirates for being so lovely all the time! :3 so anyway this song is kind of perfect for them imo. the video kind of divided in two:

* from 0:00 to 1:04 it's dave's pov ;; basically, he feels inferior to kurt's current boyfriend, blaine, and he is trying his best to surpass him, because he thinks he'd do a better job at it, but he isn't quite ready [to come out] just yet. :(

* from 1:05 to 1:31 it's kurt's pov ;; he kind of notices what's going on but he is just afraid of what could happen so he hides behind his real self behind the dalton blazer.

* aaaand the rest of the video is just kind of mixed welp
