Optimus Vs Sentinel Prime HD

Los Autobots ayudan a los militares estadounidenses en la prevención de conflictos mundiales, mientras que no hay noticias de los Decepticons. Cuando en una misión a Chernobyl (Ucrania) Optimus Prime encuentra el motor del Arca -una nave de Cybertron que alberga un objeto capaz de terminar la guerra en su planeta-, descubre que ésta se estrelló en la Luna y que allí puede estar su antiguo líder: Sentinel.

Mientras tanto, Sam (Shia LaBeouf) ha acabado la universidad y vive junto a su nueva novia Carly (Rosie Huntington Whiteley). Cuando por fin consigue trabajo a las órdenes de Bruce Brazos (John Malkovich), gracias a la recomendación del jefe de Carly (Patrick Dempsey), descubre que los Decepticons están asesinado a astronautas que tuvieron algo que ver con la carrera espacial de los 60 y que descubrieron el Arca. Ahora, con la ayuda del recién multimillonario Seymour Simmons (John Turturro), Sam deberá avisar a los militares de la llegada de sus peores enemigos

@MutantsInDisguise The Cybertronians merely exist in the movie just so that they allow Sam get the girl and satisfy his sex drive. Fortunately, he won't be back for TF4.

@lolerbabop Not really. After the Unicron Trilogy, the fans were getting tired of stories continuously revolving around Primus and Unicron, so Michael Bay took specific steps to avoid references to Primus or Unicron. So, unless we get any reference, Primus doesn't exist in the movie universe.

Christ, the action in this looks unbelievably cool. But the biggest problem I have is Optimus, one of the noblest, most compassionate and forgiving heroes in all of fiction, basically murdering a helpless Sentinel Prime! Uh, what the fuck, Bay? You could make the argument that Optimus was severely pissed off by his betrayal, and thus was kind of becoming unhinged, which could be a fascinating theory, but it still betrays the original character.
