One of the few days I can remember when I felt the bookies were giving money away. I backed The Fellow at 10 to 1. The only other one I can remember was when I backed One Man at 11 to 2 for the 1998 Champion Chase.

well,within 2 short heads of winning 3 out of 4. Don'tforget he was disappointing when a hot favourite on his 3rd attempt. He beat Jodami on his 4th try. One of my all time favourite horses. Remember backing him in the King George when he was placed behind Dessie & Toby Tobias as a 5 yo. Backed him in every race he ever ran after that. Could have cried when he finally won the Gold Cup.

indeed. Came within a couple of short heads of winning 3 Gold Cups in a row! Something of an enigma, but all the better for it.
