The songs in this scene are somewhere in the middle. And I think Ethel Merman's album signified the end because that time people were fed up. Gary Numan & Blondie led the red carpet to new wave. Along with U2, Go-Go's, Tom Tom Club, Motels, Depeche Mode, Thompson Twins.

@InternetUser1999 No disco died in 1980. There are no disco hits from 1981 or 1982. New Wave was the music that was popular in 81-82.

No I would say 1983. As up until 1982 there were many good disco hits in the charts. Then it all suddenly stopped in 1983.
That is probably the best "sex" conversation ever - made even more awesome by the fact that it was poor little, shy, adorable, dorky RSL doing the talking!! XD
