From Denver's 1975/76 Christmas Special, here's John Denver and Olivia Newton-John in a beautiful duet of FLY AWAY.
This part of the special was taped in a large specially-made bubble somewhere in the Rocky Mountains.
Sound and picture were digitally restored by bctvguy.
ENJOY the time trip back over 35 years.

John Denver Christmas Special.....how could I forget...back in the day when Christmas was celebrated by the networks with "specials" ranging from Bob Hope and Perry Como to John Denver, Sonny and Cher and the Hudson Brothers Variety Hour. My how times have changed....by today's standard such unabashed celebration would be considered "insensitive" and found to be "not inclusive" for those whom don't celebrate Christmas. Explains why such network programing has been banished. Ashame.

THIS is the best duet Olivia ever recorded! her crystal voice matches perfectly with John's and I can't imagine any other female singer to get that breezy quality in her singing. I may be wrong but this song seems to be the idea for 1987's hit SHE's LIKE THE WIND by Patrick Swayne and some female singer.

@SOLISDEUS Probably the same reason why people wish "Happy Holidays" rather than "Merry Christmas." Plain silly. We don't have trouble wishing "Merry Christmas" here in India so why should it be there?
Anyway this is one of the most magical uploads I've ever witnessed on YouTube. Thanks @bctvguy. Olivia appears so pretty and here voice prettier while John is just amazing.
