@cubeproduktion Who implied rage and swearing? I merely stated that they are very difficult to control.Practice and a four or five carriages behind helps also the larger the layout with the largest radius curves makes for a far more controllable loco.As for the mess it's easier to have separate lines for DC/DCC and live steam.Hornby could have made a better job of the controller and the loco control valve though,the current setup is too imprecise,stops on the valve would help.

@silver760 you can simply clean your track and you need skill, not rage and swear at the controller, that does nothing but make people look dumb :/

It really is too bad that they discontinued the range. Now I'll never own one. And living in Minnesota doesn't help either.

@Trainsforlife286 Ok, Thats Your Opinion. Lionel, Does NOT have a real Live steam engine. All they have are a bunch of Smoke units everywhere. Altho Vision line Does look nice, A challenger is about $800 Bucks, This is 200 Dollars cheaper. And its real life steam....I would take this
