Drug prohibition causes more suffering and harm than drugs ever could. Whenever I come across a proponent of drug prohibition I ask them, "Is a law the only thing that keeps you from taking Heroin" to which they almost always answer that while THEY know better than to do Heroin, it's everyone ELSE they must protect. Fucking assholes. I wish they had to live in a drug infested hellhole created by prohibition.

This guy was a true conservative. He probably supported Goldwater. Regan, however, was not a true conservative. I wonder what Friedman would have to say about drunk driving.... He would most likely oppose any sort of Federal regulation just as he always does.
