The Boca Bearing Company is a proud supporter of the F1 In Schools program. Students are given access to thousands of dollars worth of CAD/CAM software and are able to design very sophisticated CO2 powered vehicles. Full ceramic bearings are the secret weapon of many F1 In Schools competitors.

  • the F1 in Schools program is truly nothing short of remarkable. the amount of design and engineering that goes into each of those CO2 cars is enormous. these young kids gets access to tens of thousands of dollars of CAD software, wind tunnel testing software, CNC equipment and more. they are not only judged on the speed of the short CO2 powered race but..

  • .. are also required to create detail business plans, marketing presentations and trade show displays. some of these kids get recruited directly into automotive and performance racing design college programs. the experience of F1 in Schools does more to build the confidence and experience of the participants than most colleges. So you ask "who cares?" and to that I say "We Care!"
