I like the theory of Itachi's gift being the power to control Kyuubi, but I do have one niggling doubt. Itachi seems to see his gift as something that should be used as a last-ditch-effort only. Since I would think the power to keep Kyuubi in line would be a good thing for all involved parties, this seems like a strange attitude to have. It does suggest the possibility that the "gift" could kill Sasuke - something Itachi would worry about. (Still rooting for "Kyuubi-control, though!)

I agree but Naruto is probably is the only ninja that could handle the sharrigan(Kakashi can handle it some but it keeps him down for a week). It would be nice to see Naruto with the ability to control the Kiybu and to be able to see what his true power is like.

I don't think its anything that will kill Sasuke but I do think its some sort of counter to the Sharingan, rooting for the Kyuubi-control too

bcuz in turn Konoha from Sasuke's point of view is souly responsible for not only the death of his last known relative but, they are responsible for Itachi's death by Sasuke's hands. I'd be pissed too when you think about it.
