Yes, I have a solo piccolo CD entitled "Take Wing" (Crystal label) and 30 min. of a chamber CD titled "Illuminations" (DTR). Both can be found on itunes by searching under "Lois Herbine". If you are looking for singles, might I suggest trying Dorff's Sonatine or Daugherty's High and Mighty from "Take Wing" or Mager's 4th movement from "Illuminations". But purchasing the complete "Illuminations" would also give you a WONDERFUL recording of Ricardo Morales performing the Brahm's clarinet quintet!

I am playing on a Braun piccolo from Germany. It is unfortunate that the tone quality hat accompanies this video breaks apart on certain notes. There is a cleaner audio version available for download from the Powell Flutes recording studio site where I am playing my Powell Kingwood piccolo. You can get a free download of Meditation from Thais at this same site. Both are live performances from the 2009 International Piccolo Symposium. Enjoy! Lois

Sure. While the selection was originally written for piano quartet it is better known as an encore for violin or cello solo. Carla Maria von Paradis was a pianist during Mozart's time and studied composition with his rival Saleri. Mozart wrote a piano concerto for her. An interesting side note is that she was a nun and she was blind.
