I would also like to point out that in Southern Africa, Zimbabwe, there are slave pits beside the great Zimbabwe monument. These have nothing to do with Europeans. The Matabele and Shona will openly tell you about how they constantly went to war with each other and one was always more powerful and so always won and would take slaves from the loosing tribe. As a child I lived in Zimbabweand remember my parents being told not to employee Africans of different tribes. They hated each other.

Amditedly I haven't listened to all of this primarily because of it's grose inaccuracy. Europeans did not bring slave trade to Africa. For many hundreds of years befor European slave trade there were ancient trade routes between the middle east and West Africa. Many things were traded including thousands apon thousands of human slaves, ivory, gold as well as the Islamic culture. You may note that much of West Africa is Islamic due to the influx of culture brought by traded goods and people.

Yes....the slave trade affected Africans as a whole, not just those in the Americas

The Africans DID suffer AND the White Peoples suffered.

I'll have some info out concerning the event that you mentioned between Afro Asians and black Africans. It might valuable to understand relations and conflicts in the past and present.
