..the poor poor irish people there so poor! we laugh out loud in our country when we talk of you. we took every thing u had, u stupit fools kept giving us your jobs & now your shitty little country has nothing & if ever it does grow & get out of its recession we'll all come back & take all your jobs again ! @CountessLizz All the British not just the Scots you have probably got your information from the movies which is the worst possible source. Many years ago I knew an old lady who was a nurse in WW1 who said the British liked the Saxons. They put notices in English over their trenches "WE ARE SAXONS YOU ARE ANGLO SAXONS YOU AIM HIGH WE AIM HIGH" & they did. This would never happen with the Prussians.

You know WWI, with the French, Germans, & Scots? You know what they did on Christmas? They laid down their guns. They swapped things that the other side didn't have or didn't hear of. They played around with each other. They smoked and drank beer and just became men; even if only for a day. Something to think of, if war could always be like that. Watch the video "Joyeux Noel."

Sometimes war is a necessary evil. Killing another for justice, right and freedom is a noble cause even God approves of. As a former soldier I hate war, but understand the necessity.
