A great interpretation. Max approached this piece of Fats in a way a great pianist would approach a piece by Chopin. Great phrasing, dynamics, everything. Brilliant.

Hi Max. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting you at the 2010 West Coast Ragtime Festival, and witnessing in person (and in awe) your remarkable talents. I have really been enjoying your Keenlystride CD ever since. Thanks for sharing this wonderfully intimate look at your playing. You are a real inspiration to us everyday amateurs.
