  • @Namimi1 "Some"?

Anyway, my take is that all of Higurashi takes place in a story that Rika is telling someone (in keeping with the PoMo themes in Umineko). The logic error is that it's real-Rika telling the story, so she has to have survived to tell it, meaning that she has to figure out just how she survived.

  • @Namimi1 I was always under the impression that the logic error was the fact Hanyuu was convinced they could just wait it out and a happy ending would come. The rules of the game though stated that was impossible, but she still believed and pursued it as a strategy to win the game, thus causing a logic error. Again, just a thought.

  • @acedianPianist

The logic error was that Rika dies in some of the iterations of higurashi, and yet the rest of the town doesn't go crazy and/or die, yet this was established in the "rules" of the game later on. That's my theory anyway.

  • The picture's like:

    Screw this PERSONA!

I really wonder, what would be the Personae of lambda and bern?...I'm scared...I'm really scared.

  • @MochiSoul I Go super trollkastel on yar ass biatch~

  • @StarStareful Endless Nine bitch.

  • @PMilk151 Red herring!

You can't prove that is the reason, nor disprove it as a botched theory.

...But you can try. (But thank you; I appreciate the explanation.)

  • 2:20 pic looks great

  • @acedianPianist It's not the same type of logic error.

It is mentioned that once, Aurora's mind-device-thingie was damaged and she had a drastic personality change. Hanyuu's device IS damaged in Higurashi. So Aurora was forced to retire from that game, and the game lost it's purpose. A game with no purpose is another form of logic error. Since Aurora was retired, the pieces were trapped trying to fix it, but with no knowledge what was happening. The rest I've already said.

  • @PMilk151 My theory is that the game against Bern and Auaurora isn't Higurashi.

...butinsteadthatErikaisRika. With no absolute basis behind the theory, just the humor that Bern would've probably cracked Erika easily with that one long game. And I believe it'd take HELL+ to turn Bernkastel that cruel.

Dying is release; Bern would be begging for it. Rika died a trillion times. Etc. Not very solid at all, but humorous. (Besides. Higurashi didn't look like a logic error, to me.)
