@TheMarkster1957 someone from the future could just as much quote a science fiction book and claim it is true just because it is written inside that it is. In this day and age, would anyone believe a stranger you'd meet, let's say at a market, if they claim they were Jesus Christ? I'm assuming 99% will not make any contact with that man (or woman but the bible IS anti-feminist) unless you are just that type of kind person. But even if you do help him, i doubt you would think otherwise of him.

I personally think that Jesus was laughing his ass off when she made that joke. But that's just me. xD As a Christian, I think she's completely right that God would have better things to do than give someone an award. Winning something has to do with the work you put in, and how other people choose to appreciate the work you do. Basically, people need to stop thanking God for winning their awards. Maybe say "God Bless" at the end instead? It's more humble than thanking God for winning at least.

Whether or not you believe he was the son of God or not is up to you, but he was a real person. You'd have to be an idiot to think he was never around.
