Transformers opening theme

Those, like me, who watched Season 1 in UK when it first aired back in 1984/5, will also remember Roland Rat, lol.

I'm glad the Japanese thought of this cartoon, would of sucked with out transfromers :)

Actually, the Transformers we know are an American creation. The Japanese did create the actual toy line of the transforming robots, but they did not give them names or story lines. Executives from Hasbro saw the toys and decided to name each robot and created the two feuding factions. If you want to see more about this, see Wikipedia or, if possible, the special features about this on the Transformers 2 Disk DVD/Blu-Ray.

Technically, it would be both. Sure Japan animated it and there were Japanese language versions of the various animated series, however, it is largely an American piece.

What do you mean? Armada was good, Energon, I agree, and the Japanese version of Cybertron is good. Why is the Unicron trilogy the black sheep of the franchise when that rightfully belongs to G2 and Beast Machines?
