LEGO ISLAND ANTHOLOGY

TO EVERYONE WHO IS/WAS A FAN OF THIS THEME:

This is the tribute dedicated to what is seems to be probally one of the most greatest impact in the history of Lego:The Lego Island Anthology!

It was the first ever to have a game based entirely on Lego.It was released on PC in 1997.It featured the charecters of Pepper,the Brickster,the Infomaniac,and among others.That was considered by many to be somewhat a cult classic for its interactive gameplay.In this,an player choses the Brickolini's Mama and Papa,the Police Nick and Laura Brick,and (of course,) Pepper,the "dude with the food".That was only played in First Person.In this one,there some tasks such as building a race car,delivering pizzas,and (on top of it all),stop the menacing Brickster from "de-bricking" Lego Island.However,the only way for him to escape was by giving him pizza (which can only happened,if playing Pepper).That was only on PC.

Following the game,is the sequal,Lego Island 2:The Brickster's Revenge,which was released in 2001,with Pepper as the only playable charecter.As it did in the first,the Brickster,once again escaped from jail,as he bring destruction upon Lego Island.This time,however,he tooked the pages of the Constructopedia,and used it to "de-brick" Lego Island.However,Pepper,like he did in the first,goes after him,but this time,he must find the missing pages of the Constructopedia in order to rebuild Lego Island.As the game progresses,he head out into Castle Island,Adventurer Island,then into space, and to Ogel Island,where he faced him at the Brickster Palace and his Brickster-Bots.Pepper once again stopped the Brickster.In this one, it is viewed only in third-person.(Unlike the first game),however.That was only released on PC,(just like the first),PS1,(Playstation),Gameboy Color,and Gameboy Advence.

Afterwards,come the next (and probally to date,the last,) game in the series,Lego Island Xtreme Stunts,which was released in 2002,(a year after the events of Lego Island 2:The Brickster's Revenge was released) and pretty much has the similar gameplay as it did on the second as well as having Pepper once again being the only one playable.In this one,he is tasked by an director to do stunts for a movie.

In addition to the game,however,there was also a Lego-toy-line of the same name,which was,to date,the only theme to have ever featured charecters from the Lego Island games,which includes Pepper,the Brickster,the Infomaniac,Snap Locket,but it also has new faces,Sky Lane,as well as the Brickster's henchmen.Ironically,so to speak,there are only a total of 12 sets (which included the 3 mini-fig-only sets,and 9 main sets).

Although considered by fans a legacy,there are,as of this point,may be a small possibility that it will be another Lego island game or another toy-line,but it is still unknown if that ever likely to happen,however,as it may occur sometime in the near future,if is possible.

Only time will tell,though...

Thr music for this are the radio song that can be heard on the first game,while the other,is the astroid theme from the second game.

the first one was always the best. i hated that they changed the island in the second game, and that you could only play as pepper. the first was the best. the infomaniac, the info tower, pizzeria, the cool cops (i always thought nick and that girl cop were going to get married) and those cool movies on the character profiles were the best! i miss this game.

did you know that there were three sets from the ninety's that were used to render the buildings in the first lego island? i want them so bad, and im ticked that lego didnt make a pizzeria with mama and papa, that game was a wonderful experience and a sucess
