Matthew's solo at 2:55 is the most joyful expression I've ever heard. My spirit literally leaps every time I hear it.

@Vejur9000--Hearing this song for the first time today. I was in the kitchen and hearing it play from another room--and he does sound a lot like Stevie Wonder.
Great singing.

All they wanted to do were to praise the Lord and to lead people to God. They
don´t had an interest in self-representation and getting famous. I have never lived to see such credible christians like them! It´s a long time ago I visited a concert in Hamburg/Germany and their spirit and testimony touched me deep in my heart and in my soul. I´ll never forget it! Since that time the three people have got a place in my heart - forever!

Matthew is the sun and his sisters are the moons. A perfect compliment to each other. They are all amazing. If you put Matthew toe to toe with Stevie Wonder and Donny Hathaway in their prime, he could totally hold his own. This man goes up and down the scales like it's nothing. Notice that the faster he has to sing, the more amazing his voice gets.

Thank YOU for posting this video... I am wondering where it came from. Anyway, this song and video has inspired me for many, many days!!!!
This was done around 1987 at Jesus Midwest. I played bass and I can verify that there are some taped keyboards, the rest of the band was live. Some vocals were augmented with recorded tracks but the singers were all singing live as well and blended with the tracks. I don't know anybody else that could pull this off live, they didn't do it to fool anyone, they did it to get a HUGE sound. It takes a lot of talent to produce this kind of matching perfection each performance, and they did.

One of the most wonderful things about 2nd chapter is how original they were. There was nothing like them in the secular market. They were definately not a Christian copy of a worldly group.

I agree completely. You can't even come up with a combination of secular artists or groups that comes close. Having been involved personally with them I can say that the music was really inspired by their relationship with and love for the Lord.
