A lot of people think Gren is gay. I disagree. He looks over Faye real lustfully in this scene, and she even seems to be responding in kind. I think its more like he wants her, but his body is so screwed up he just can't act on it.

I might add how a friend of mine pointed out that at the end of this two-parter, Ed is painting Faye's toenails and she says "Any color but blue." If you actually notice, Gren's eyes are blue. Implies that perhaps a little more passed between them than what we see on screen.

I'm not sure Faye was in love with Spike. I think she was hurt and looking for someone to console her-and she wanted Spike to be that someone. But that is more like just transferring emotions, not love. That said, this episode is where she starts to be curios and feel more connected to him.

nice faye, really expressed the non chalant, and sometimes sarcastic carefree attitude of faye but at the same time also its sadness, and that requires good method acting! nice job!

Just cause he has a chest doesn't mean he's gay or bi. If he was straight before- i'm sure he still is now, well when he was alive. It just makes things a bit more awkward as i'm sure most straight woman would not want a guy with a rack.

@dkupke With the drugs he was given, things might be rather complicated for him. I'd go with the idea he was bi instead.

@dkupke Yeah, after finding Faye handcuffed in Gren's apt, Jet even asked her "Oh I get it. He's one of those kinds of guys huh?" And she replies "What are you talking about? You mean Gren? He's not like anyone else." Man I'm so mad Reeves is gonna be playing Spike. I hope that Live action movie doesn't come through.
