The very 1st Trag Hip song I heard was in 1987. It was "Evelyn" I went over to the UK for afew years,but just couldnt get the tune outta my head.I knew they were gonna be HUGE.When I got back in 1992,low n behold,I was right! L♡VE The Hip!

I coul never understand why the T.Hip are so popular in Canada but nowhere else. Especially since they are world class musicians. But its because of how Canadian they are. Only a Canadian truly understands what they are talking about.

@C17SL655 I used to feel that way as I lived in the heart of hydrocarbons (Red Deer Alberta) until I saw a bumper sticker saying "What used to piss me off, now only makes me laugh". That is a good way to change an attitude like ours. Peace. Its all good. Nature has a few tricks up her sleeve to put humans in their place.

Saw Gord Downie in concert. That man is a poet, musician and artist all in one. And the band Tragically Hip just fit together so well. Their music is amazing, very Canadian.
