Got to laugh at the people who still think this is supposed to be a gay relationship and that it was right to have been banned. CLEARLY it is meant to symbolise that the Deli Mayo is so authentic that it is like having your own New York Deli dude in your own home when your mum makes your lunch every morning! It's laughable when people see what they want to see, just to make a fuss about something!

I think I read someone else that said this... the guy the kids call "mum" is supposed to be a mom. They're saying the mayonnaise has the New York taste, and the guy called "mum" is a joke. Even if the ad is kinda gay (I'm gay, so don't say anything). It's like people who read books. They see stuff that isn't there.

This advert was not banned, Heinz simply caved in to the Daily Mail Parade and killed it to avoid losing any more mayonaise-eating homophobic customers.
