I am 55 years old and have always been atheist. It's only when I hear Mr. Morricone's music it seems hard not to believe in a god of some type. Thank you Mr. Morricone for all you have given all of us, forever.

@ramthumper I hear this and think of the brilliance of man, and the beauty that resides inside of us. Not some type of entity living a sad, pathetic existence.

@baborielly this comment makes no sense, but I agree that a world without music would be awful. Music can bring one closer to heaven.

@baborielly You should watch Equilibrium which stars Christian Bale. It explores that idea and I think it does a good job at it
Have heard this from somewhere - which movie is it from?

What if we lived in a world without a bit of creative arts. What if we spent so much time developing science we forgot to develop music. There would probably be no more war. Everyone would be unified; yet unhappy, for their would be a void in everyones lives. If i had to choose between living in a peaceful futuristic society but never hear the work of Ennio Morricone i would choose to stay in the war ravaged earth of today. Music is life. Thank you for showing me that Mr. Morricone.
