Born with heart disease, not expected to live, she survived horrific beatings, homelessness, encounters with the Yakuza, false imprisonment and escape in Pakistan, a stroke, three heart valve surgeries and a heart transplant in Australia, and so much more...Despite it all, her incredible generosity, courage and great compassion touched us all...Halican mor acor, my Guapa...

Thank you...She's the guiding light in my life. She rose from horrific poverty and illness to inspire everyone she met. I always felt I was in the presence of greatness...At the request of others, she wrote her life story, which I'm going to publish soon. Loved your B T Washington quotes, I'm a fan of Washington and Frederick Douglass...(And Evangeline)
