Every time I try to get close to him, no matter how slow I advance, he doesn't let me get closer than about two inches before recoiling and taking off. With the exception of one time, he let me touch his head. For a second. But you know... That's quite an advancement from not ever even seeing him!! I just know he'll be out to see me more in no time... Just like JB did.
Woodie might be hesitant because of the other cats. It's like he has to keep watch over the cats and the humans to see if they will be ok. If it were just you and Woodie he might come around much sooner. He's not sure of everything yet and the other cats are competition. He's a really pretty cat. :)

@LizKS48 Yeah.. According to his owner, when she brought Moose home, they all changed... She actually offered to give me Moose (and I so would have taken him if I could) so that her other cats would go back to normal.

All your kittens are very pretty. Woodie seems shy.

@michita2006 Yeah, he really is... I keep saying I'll get to him eventually, but I'm beginning to have my doubts :(

@AK49BWL How long have you had Woodie? It sometimes takes several weeks for a cat to adjust. We have a cat who got outdoors when someone opened the door and wasn't paying attention. She was gone three days before she came back battered and beat up. We had to keep her in a bedroom by herself for 3 weeks before she would allow our other cat, who she knew, to come any where near her. She ate, slept and litterboxed in that room and we just waited for her. She's ok now. Give him time. :)

@LizKS48 Well he's not actually mine. I was only catsitting.. But he's lived in that house for at least a couple years now.
