Here is how to do stop-motion animation on the iPad 2. Do you have an iPad 2, Legos, $5.98 in Apple App Store credit, and a lot of free time? If the answer is yes, you can make your own Lego animated movies on the iPad. My son has a great time animating Lego Star Wars characters. It's a lot easier now than it was when I was a kid, working with Super 8 silent film. Just shoot the movie using the 99 cent app, Stop Motion Studio, which is made by Cateater. The pictures are saved to a photo stack in the iPad. Open iMovie, which is made by Apple and costs $4.99, and edit the movie and add voiceovers and sound effects, and then publish it directly to YouTube. In this video you see that it's easy for a fifth grader to make animated Lego Star Wars movies.

  • Thanks this helped alot !

  • @skillerboi89 It should move. You have to put your finger on it and hold it there for a second, and then the clip will become moveable.

  • When I try to drag the audio clip to where I want it on iMovie it wont move?
