The composer J. S. Bach wrote over 10,000 pages of music in his career as a church musician. It is said that he wrote the letters S.D.G. on the bottom of every one of them. S.D.G. is an abbreviation for the Latin words Soli Deo Gloria, "To God Alone Be The Glory!" 1 Corinthians 10:31 "Whatever you do...do it all for God's glory!"

  • Question: HOW do you keep your fingers from slipping off all those black keys? That was the problem I had with this etude, and I'm sure that's the purpose of it is to help you to be able to play the black keys. I need to go back and finish this, but I'll never play it as fast and accurately as you. You are truly an amazing pianist. WOW!!!

    Standing O + applause! BRAVO!!

  • Overall good performance, but too much pedal, at some areas, like the beginning. It sounds too drowned out, and not clear enough. You play well, though!

  • Just great! :)
