Great thanks. I'd hoped the Xilisoft Auto Conversion would be perfect, but as always, auto mode usually does a half job lol. I didn't expect it to go as smooth...

i get 3dcombine exe stoped working -.-"

@PRIMEMAN3457 You replace the original depthmap.bmp and then click OK.
-
@RScullion okay. now it says it "saved" a picture bmp file of the first video frame. I then dragged the depthmap i made to the right view, but the time still says ETA.

@PRIMEMAN3457 Have you tried using paths without a space in them, e.g. c:\files ?

Hi,
I've just started converting to 3D using Xilisoft Ultimate7. Now what I have noticed with this software, is that my SBS playback on my 3DTV is lagging, and the dubbing is now out.
The lagging I experience for example, is like the Right Frame is slower than the Left Frame. This is more prominent on an angle or camera change. I take it, from what you mentioned in your clip, the depthmap will stop this from happening?

@PhuxAche1972 Yes - a lot of tools out there just use a delayed frame as the right eye. This can be very effective if things are moving horizontally(the fast 2D->3D mode in 3DCombine does something similar) but can introduce eye strain and the funny effects you mention. A proper 2D->3D conversion will generate a new right frame for each left frame that will be perfectly in sync.
