I usually don't like covers but geez, everything Nouvelle Vague has done, I loved it!

They must be the exception to my rule ;-)

Since you only say "the loud voice" i'm *guessing* that

you don't know that it's Martin. Martin Gore of Depeche Mode who wrote the song and together with Nouvelle Vague now and here reinvented it.

I wanted to add that, cause Nouvelle this or that means a lot more when he's around :)

So really when you think about him being involved i would personally

call this song a "semi-cover" / "semi-original".

Updated to this side of the millennium.

I'd also call it awesome :P

This is incredible. Honestly, I think it's better than the original. If you're going to do a cover, reinvent it. And have Nouvelle Vague done that!
