I prefer the lanc as well. And yes I'm fiercely British and proud of that. Although I really do like the B17. Two very different aircraft: one made for daylight bombing, the other made as a universal heavy but which was a brilliant night bomber.
Regardless, both airforces did a tremendous job. Amen to the 8th Army Air Force and RAF bomber command.

Sweet Vid, My grandpa flew the B-24 and bombed germany. I have much respect for the planes and their pilots. Wish I got the oppurtunity to fly those.
