what kind of jack plate? and how in the world do you have this big ass motor on this boat I have one just like it with a 140 eveninrude and its really more than it can handle cause its only rated for a 120
-
you would get even quicker if you get a perfromamce high speed gear box, you will lower resistance and turn the prop quicker
-
No it doesn't... lol

put it up then!
a 115 is an inline engine, and it wont bust off like a v6.

sounds good man! I have an 86 mariner 200 on a 16.8 winner hull that will set the water on fire as well. I run a hoss 27 pitch offshore cleaver. But it seems that the ones who run new engines like the 300sx and the 300x dont believe these old merc's will turn the R's and run in the 90's.stupid nay sayers! whats the hull you're using?

its a Dawson. HydroSport made the same identical hull.
its light and fast. The only thing about it, it will chine walk at 73 mph, once past 80, your fine.
