Between October and February tens of thousands of Pink Footed Geese (who have flown in from Iceland) roost each night on the mudflats of The Wash (Norfolk, UK). Each day they fly out to local fields to graze - their favourite being the sugar-beet fields where farmers have left the tops of the beet after harvesting. Then they all fly back at dusk, skein after skein causing a wonderful commotion in the process. Most of these shots are taken from the RSPB Snettisham Reserve, the the final ones are from our garden! No way does this video do justice to the experience but it'll give you a taste. Unfortunately a bit of wind noise (not that sort!) on some of the shots, but do bear with it!
