The Dragbike Live.com film crew was on location during the MiRock Superbike Series Spring Nationals held April 30 thru May 1 2011 at Maryland International Raceway.
While filming the event we captured a rare Pro Street drag bike crash. Doug Witt attempts to be the very first person to go 7.00's in legal competition and also do it with a nitrous powered drag bike. Things do not work out exactly as he had hope for.

  • @Tuscani27 Do u really think that's his 1st time running on that same setup??? They're about 15 bike running those times with similiar setups (Htp,Stotz,Adams etc etc..) He was just trinna get alll he can out the bike..What ppl don't understand is it's hard to 1. Realize the bike is lifting 2. Have to back off 3. Balance the bike while landing 4. ALLL while going 180+ mph!!!

  • glad he's ok

  • What's the asshole in the background sayin? 'Lay it down, lay it down' ??? or some stupid shit like that....whatta fuckin annoying asshole ~

  • Glad the rider was ok, was he really pushing 180 when thrown?

  • true definition of an epic fail

  • Good sportsmanship on both riders part, one for walking up like a man, other for stoping and seeing if home boy was ok

  • nice to see the other rider stop, real class

  • how fuckin fast was he going? damn

  • Glad to hear you're ok Doug.

If anybody can get the record it's you.

Hope you get back out there soon.

  • Lets hit the nitrous and wheelie this stretched busa cuz it can soo balance itself on that swingarm

  • @Fovos it's against the rules to have a wheelie bar , it's the concept of the class : to take a 68inch street tire bike to the limit with no wheelie bar.
