hey, i have tight vnc and my mate in a few miles from my does to. But how do i connect to him using tight vnc. please could someone help me, if u need more info to help me i'd be more than welcome.

you'd have to get his ip address. I don't mean the 192.168.1.1 address, the one assigned by the router. like 24.15.191.8. After that he/she will need to open a port on the router to allow access for you.

It depends on the router type and model, some allow you to open ports and some don't. You're going to have to go into the router and check. Use a good firewall like Comodo or Zonealarm
