@arslanmoe - Wow, how wrong can you be. The wrong'un/googly/bosie was developed by Englishman Bernard Bosanquet and he died in 1936. Try to learn a bit about the game mate or you'll just keep on embarrasing yourself. And while I'm at it, Mendis's 'carrom' ball was used in the '50s by Jack Iverson and the '60s by Johnny Gleeson when they played for Australia, so he plainly didn't invent that either. That leaves Saqlain, and he certainly did develop the doosra, so you got one out of three right.

Commentators makes the youngsters heros just after a couple of games. For a player to survive he needs variety. Be it batting or bowling. It will be difficult to face a new bowler because the batsman may not have seen his bowling. How can they compare Mendis with Murali? He has been playing for several years and still he is a difficult bowler.
