When connected to the motor speed controller the Dashboard LCD display allows the electric bike owner to change the controller settings while out on the road.

  • DIY 48V 40A (12x P75NF75 MOSFET) controller would cost around $120.00 or less and a 72V 50A (12x IRFB4115 MOSFET) controller would cost around $200.00 or less for you to build one yourself. Use SLA or LiPO4 battery pack.

  • @X2YeZCAMCNC Wondering what kind of MCU you're using for this project? Also what model is the LCD you're using?

  • @weefek PIC Microchip and Newhaven Display

  • @255keithh you never got back to me...wtf

  • Really interested in building one of these dave! Where can I download or purchase the designs?

  • So more voltage means higher speeds? will this allow you to control the speed output ?

  • @X2YeZCAMCNC Figured it was a PIC - if you don't mind me asking which models? I'm also an electrical engineer tech , I've built a few projects / industrial control systems myself , I love this kind of stuff. Looks good, by the way. Where can I find more info on your speed controller ?
