Meanie Genie strategy: Stand on the lower right corner of the screen and shoot arrows to the left. The -only- attack of his that will reach you there is the lightning dragons, and they're VERY telegraphed.
Sure, it's potentially boring, but having picked the right character for it, I'm surprised you didn't exploit that.
