@thegreatimpostor No, not in Smooth or Standard tango. I think you got Ballroom tango confused with the Argentine tango.

@thegreatimpostor Not if they are dancing standard tango. It is far more styled and they put more emphasis in striking poses. On the other hand, argentine tango requires more contact and body communication, since the leader has to make the lady move and show her off.
