The band A Raincoat do their single "It Came In The Night" with animation by Anna Farrar. A great Halloween video for kids. Introduction by Alan Merrill of the band the Arrows.

  • Things that go bump in the nght!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is there any way to download this?! I love this song, but I can't seem to get my hands on it too easily hah

  • Sorry, can't help you there!

  • I love this song, it's so catchy. It's a shame it was never released.

Does anyone know where I might find lyrics to this? There are some parts where I just can't understand what they're saying. Thanks!

  • Andy Arthurs and A Raincoat's original 45 single of the song "It Came In The Night." The song was also included as the soundtrack to Kenneth Anger's short film "Rabbit's Moon." EMI 2393 catalogue number for the vinyl 45 rpm.. It was indeed released.

  • I do like this version, but I think kenneth Angers interpretation is a little bit more enjoyable,*

  • @AdAstrsa i have a copy of this song, if you want it.

  • @Jecoopster this is not facebook, no one cares about thumbs and likes and dislike.

that said, Kenneth Anger makes me wet my panties.

  • Thumb up if Rabbit's Moon brought you here!

  • @AdAstrsa

    youtube to mp3

  • What is the line at 1:20? "It looked like a..." and then I can't make out the rest of the line.

  • Alkaline Trio used this song as the intro for their concerts this year and I can't get this out of my head ever since.

  • @AdAstrsa you can find it at tinyurl (dot) com (bar) araincoat

  • @nastynastynena BTW be sure and get the 1979 version of Rabbit's Moon which features this song, and is 7 minutes long (they play the song twice back-to-back). The original 1972 version of Rabbit's Moon is longer and uses a do-wop soundtrack! Both are available on Amazon in Kenneth Anger anthologies Vol. I and II.

  • I have a scratchy MP3 of this song if you're interested. (BTW- thanks for posting this nastynena!)
