I do like this version, but I think kenneth Angers interpretation is a little bit more enjoyable,*

What is the line at 1:20? "It looked like a..." and then I can't make out the rest of the line.

Alkaline Trio used this song as the intro for their concerts this year and I can't get this out of my head ever since.

@AdAstrsa you can find it at tinyurl (dot) com (bar) araincoat

@nastynastynena BTW be sure and get the 1979 version of Rabbit's Moon which features this song, and is 7 minutes long (they play the song twice back-to-back). The original 1972 version of Rabbit's Moon is longer and uses a do-wop soundtrack! Both are available on Amazon in Kenneth Anger anthologies Vol. I and II.

I love this song, it's so catchy. It's a shame it was never released.
Does anyone know where I might find lyrics to this? There are some parts where I just can't understand what they're saying. Thanks!

Andy Arthurs and A Raincoat's original 45 single of the song "It Came In The Night." The song was also included as the soundtrack to Kenneth Anger's short film "Rabbit's Moon." EMI 2393 catalogue number for the vinyl 45 rpm.. It was indeed released.
