The latest edition to my 'youtubers portraits' series. Awesome musician and all round nice guy; Ronald Jenkees!

The music is by the man himself, and the song is called Disorganized Fun.

Ronalds channel is here - http://www.youtube.com/user/ronaldjenkees

The painting was created in Adobe Photoshop CS3, using a wacom Bamboo tablet. It took about 3 hours to paint.

  • you traced...

  • @MegaLukaArt Actually no I didn't. If you mean the outline at the start, I actually used the grid method of drawing.

I prefer to start from scratch like I did in my modern warfare 2 video, but ultimately I think it makes for a long and boring intro. :)

  • Pretty cool man, nice work. Keep it up!

  • great

  • @yuriclaes Thanks. Its just the effects of the big lenses in the glasses, slightly changing the perspective of his eyes.

  • Cool, his glasses look very real :)

but is he supposed to look squint-eyed (or whatever the english term for that)

  • First I started with learning the tools of photoshop for a year or two. Then Started drawing small objects, before finally moving on to whole images.

Most of what I learned I figured out for myself. I also picked up some handy tips from watching loads of other time-lapse digital art. Hope that helps!
