Daigo option select

btw, Magneto Maniac had a video of this technique up a long time ago. I feel it's necessary to give credit to him and any others talking about it since this is by no means new.

Saw Daigo use this vs Justin at Season's Beatings IV ;7)

In the video: I am controlling Rufus, either blocking or reversal EX Messiah. Ryu is CPU and doing the same thing every time.

Method is simple: Safe jump and perform jump fierce with dp motion + strong + fierce. If they block (or get hit), fierce happens normally. If Rufus EX Messiah, Ryu land and automatically EX shoryu to avoid guessing game situation after blocked EX Messiah.

ok so how does it work? Do you actualy have to input something like just mash a bunch of shit and the game does the best option for you or what?

@Illmatic25 Yeah I get the logic of it, and I fully admit that my saltiness is mostly because I suck at doing them, but it's still lame.

@Setzer You do input the option select you want to do if your opponent just so happens to something on wake up besides block. You obviously will have to predict/guess what your opponent is going to do and based on your prediction, you choose your option select. If you think your opponent is going to back dash, then input option select tatsu, if you think your opponent (ex. bison) is going to wake up psycho crusher then the best option select would be EX shoryuken to counter.
