2013 Ford Fiesta ST Spy Video

The new Focus ST isn't the only hot hatch brewing at Ford. The automaker's European division is also readying a brand new Fiesta ST, a prototype of which has been filmed at the Nurburgring.

The engine in the Fiesta ST is most likely based on the regular 119 horsepower 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine from the 2011 Ford Fiesta but with the aid of EcoBoost output should be closer to the 180 horsepower mark.

strictly speaking it is a mk6.

ford didnt count the 95-00 & 00-02 fiesta as two seperate models. merely a facelift.

but yeah i also call it as a seperate model.

saying that, the mk1 and mk2 are the same car just facelifted. the mk3, mk4 and mk5 (89-02) are the same car aswell, just heavily facelifted, they share the same platform, chassis etc. so to look at it from a pedants view (mine) the fez is only in its 4th true incarnation.
