I heard this for the first on AOL radio just two days and was very impressed. I some Mahalia Jackson songs when I was a kid but I didn't like any of it. Her songs seemed too old fashioned. Songs were not song like that in the churches I grew up in. Now that I'm an adult and understand praise and worship, I appreciate and embrace songs I once despised.

omg this is balm to my soul... it brings back so many memories of my mom singing this song around the house.. she sang this mouriing her mom , i listen because i mourn her.. thank you Jesus.. bless my soul...
